Whats all About The Kashmir Files?
The Kashmir Files Movie Review: Many types of stories about Jammu and Kashmir have come on screen so far. Majority of the films made till date mainly focuses on how terrorism took its roots in Kashmir. For example Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s film Shikara (2020) was not up to the expectation. Shikara could not do justice to the emotions of the Kashmiri Pandits. But now a film has come, which depicts the True story of Kashmiri Pandits being homeless in their own country for more than three decades.
Till now this pain of Kashmiri Pandits has got very less chance to see on the big screen, but now director Vivek Agnihotri is telling this story as ‘The Kashmir Files’.
The Kashmir Files film is based on the testimonies of the people scarred for generations by the insurgency in the Indian state. The film presents the tragic exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits.
The Kashmir Files film duration is about 2h and 40 minutes but some parts of the film will definitely blow your head. The film is about the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits who were forced by the terrorists to run away from their own houses. The film takes a dig at the country’s top college policy, media and the government of that time. Through this film Vivek gives justice to Kashmiri Pandits who have been living as a refugees in their own country for more than 30 years.
