Narappa (2021) is an Indian period action drama film starring Venkatesh, Priyamani, Ammu Abhirami and various other artists. Narappa is based on 1985 mass killings known as Karamchedu massacre. The massacre happened due to conflict between Dalits and Kamma landlords. The movie is a remake of tamil film Asuran (2019). Narappa is directed by Srikanth Addala.

Narappa Storyline

Narappa (Venkatesh Daggubati) is a farmer. He is a an ageing alcoholic. Narappa and many like him always gets humiliated by the overlords. But prefers to turn the other cheek rather, than fighting back and standing up against this. Narappa has a violent, painful past. He can go to any lengths to keep his family safe. He also has two sons Munikanna & Sinappa.

Pandusami (Aadukalam Naren) is a rich landlord in the village. He owns most of the land in the village. But now he wants to grab Narappa’s three-acres of land. Pandusami wants to set up a cement factory in a very big area of land.

Narappa sets off a chain of events to save the family.
