Trailer Storyline

Suruli is a gangster from Madrai. He runs a Parotta restaurant. He is unable to find a bride due to his his criminal background. Even when his marriage is fixed, the bride runs away when she finds out about his thug like behaviour.
Suruli finds himself caught between good and evil. It is a fight for a place to call home.

The film received a mix of responses from the audiences. As per Dhanush, Jagame Thandhiram was one of the quickest films in his career. The shooting was completed within four months. Karnan Actor was reportedly unhappy with producer Sashikanth. Despite the fact that cinemas were already being reopened during the COVID-19 pandemic with 50% capacity, producer went for a direct digital release.
