About Shershaah

Shershaah (Lion King) is an Indian Bollywood Biographical-War film. The film is going to be a debut in Bollywood for the director Vishnu Varadhan. Shershaah is written by Sandeep Shrivastava. The film is produced under the banner of Dharma Productions and Kaash entertainment. Bollywood superstar Sidharth Malhotra is acting as Captain Vikram Batra while Kiara Advani is playing as Dimple Cheema.

Shershaah is based on Incredible True Story of the Kargil War Hero Captain Vikram Batra. Vikram Batra (or Vicky) was a household name during Kargil War (1999). Vikram was a War-Hero who played significant role in winning Kargil War. His heroic effort and unmatchable bravery helped Indian Army in chasing the Pakistani soldiers out of Indian territory. His bravery immensely contributed in finally winning the Kargil War in 1999. Government of India praised his valor and bravery by awarding Him with Param Vir Chakra (PVC). His memory remains Indelible in the Indian psyche.

Shershaah Release Date

According to the makers of the film, the movie was going to be released on July 3, 2020, but was postponed due to Covi-19 pandemic. Later, a second date was finalised for the release of the film as- July 2, 2021. The second released date got again postponed. Finally, Shershaah movie released on August 12, 2021 on OTT platform- Amazon Prime Video. According to Amazon Prime Video, Shershaah became the most watched movie on its OTT platform.

Trailer

The Official Trailer of the film was released on July 25, 2021 by Amazon Prime Video youtube channel. The 2:55 min longer video trailer received huge number of thumb Likes. In just 4 weeks of its release, the trailer is being viewed by more than 53 millions.

Along with this, Dharma Productions also published the video trailer of Shershaah on July 28, 2021. This 2:45 min video trailer also received quite a huge number of Thumbs-Up and nearly 1 million views.

Whats Good in Shershaah?
Direction: Vishnu Vardhan took the maximum output from their cast. His work in his debut Bollywood film is tremendous.

Acting: Lead Sidharth Malhotra acting as Captain Vikram Batra has done pure Justice to the Kargil War Hero and PVC recipient. Kiara also shown his best acting skill in the cine world. Other supporting artists have performed best keeping in mind the legacy of the characters they are playing-in.

Emotions: The movie is given an intense emotional touch, specially the ending scene. Every emotions including Love, Brotherhood, Separation, Heroism etc are filmed with best shot they could possibly do.

Whats Bad in Shershaah?
Punjabi-Dialogues: Some Dialogues between Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani are in Punjabi. Even songs are in Punjabi language that may take efforts to understand by the non-Punjabi speaking audiences.

Jio-Qualcomm achieves successful testing of 5G speed of 1Gbps

India’s telcom giant Reliance Jio and US-based Qualcomm will jointly make homegrown technology-based 5G mobile internet available in India. This will allow India to join exclusive clubs in countries that provide users with superfast 1 Gbps speed.

Jio has teamed up with Qualcomm to do successful testing of its 5G technology. The announcement of Jio-Qualcomm tie up was made at a virtual event in San Diego, U.S.A.

During the Qualcomm 5G summit, Reliance Jio President Matthew Omen said qualcomm and Jio are working together on 5G technology to launch it in India soon.

The partnership is based on Reliance industries chairman Mukesh Ambani’s commitment. He announced in July that Jio Made-in-India is developing 5G technology.

The two companies have also reported that they have also achieved a speed of 1 Gbps on Jio’s 5G solution with the help of a Qualcomm platform. This means that it will allow a movie with a 1GB file size to be downloaded in just one second. The partnership also includes Geo’s U.S. subsidiary Rediss Corporation.

Jio’s 5G technology will be completely indigenous. For this, Jio has developed a homegrown 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) which is perfect for delivering ultra high speed output. It has been tested in the US.

Having indigenous networks will not require India to rely on Chinese companies such as Huawei and ZTE for equipment. It will also avoid any possible security threat to national infrastructure.

Sushant Singh Rajput Case- Supreme Court of India orders CBI probe

“Need of the Hour” : SC

The court quotes, Sushant Singh Rajput was a talented actor in the Mumbai film world (Bollywood). The Apex Court adds, But he died well before his full potential could be realized.

Sushant’s family, friends, fans, admirers are keenly waiting for the outcome of the investigation.

SC orders Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) probe into the FIR registered by the Bihar Police on the complaint of Rajput’s father Krishna Kishore Singh. The FIR will be reference to the CBI and pronounced it lawful.

Supreme Court said that Bihar government is competent to transfer the case to the CBI for investigation and asked the Mumbai police to hand over all evidence it has collected to the CBI.

The single-bench judge, Justice Roy, pronounced that if any other case is registered regarding the actor’s death, the same shall be probed by the CBI only.

The apex court said that jurisdiction of Mumbai Police, under section 174 of the CrPC which deals with procedure to be followed in cases of unnatural death and suicide, it had limited investigation powers.

The Bihar police, however, registered a “full-fledged FIR” ,on Rajput’s father complaint, which already stands referred to the CBI.

Meanwhile, reactions poured in from Bihar and also from the film industry.
Shweta Singh Kirti, sister of Sushant Singh Rajput took to Twitter for her initial reaction.

“There we go!! Finally!! CBI for SSR!! #CBITakesOver”, she tweeted.

In the very next tweet she thanked God for HIS answers to ‘their’ prayers. She tweets it is just the beginning for the Truth to revealed. They have full believe in Law and Order and the CBI investigation.

Further, Shweta Singh Kirti posts a personal tweet to her family in India. She expresses her happiness over the Supreme Court orders CBI probe. Shweta Singh is currently residing in California, USA.
