The story of the Hollywood film Big Gold Brick revolves around the story of a callow writer. Samuel Liston is a callow writer in the film. The film recounts Samuel’s story and his experiences with Floyd Deveraux. Floyd enlists Samuel to write his biography. Samuel is fledging writer but he gets convinced to write his biography. He prepares to write but the circumstances that lead up to this arrangement in the first place are quite astonishing. The film shows his struggles and efforts to write the biography.
